Haha!

First, thanks for coming to OIT for our fair. It was cool to see you supporting Zumeo.

Second, I agree with everything here. I think a lot of people dismiss the career as a casual thing, but in reality, any situation that could potentially get your foot in the door with a company should be treated as business and everyone should act and dress accordingly!

The new idea is disgusting!!! The "less is more" allowed me to read everything (yes, all 7 words).

Made me laugh! It's definetly more eye catching, and the curiosity factor would be high, possibly driving traffic. But after seeing that image, I don't know that I'd want a sick job.

The new idea is definitely eye catching--and would likely draw more people in than the last campaign. My only thought is if it might be a little too sparse...info wise. Perhaps one or two short phrases would help people to catch what Zumeo is all about. You wouldn't want your audience to be confused about what you can help them do.

Appreciate the post. Great thoughts to get ready for interviews. My father-in-law is going to play the "devil's advocate" and ask some hard questions to help me prepare for my interview. Interviews, like you said regarding public speaking, are probably the most feared aspect to landing the perfect job. But your points definitely help to get started in the right direction.

Totally agree.

Remember the information you glean from your research should be used with care. You don't want to find yourself reciting the the recruiters LinkedIn profile back to them. I recently heard a recruiter say this happened to her and it was just straight "creepy".

Good stuff Justin.

We have hired a couple interns and I can vouch for these tactics. Another tactic is to make your employer feel like he needs you. You can do this by voluntarily getting involved in projects at a critical level. As an employer I can say it will be much easier to offer a full time job to someone who plays a vital role in a project that is important to me and the company.
